Cancellation Policy
Cancellation at least 6 hours prior to the start of a class will be given credit in the amount paid towards a future class. Cancellation less than 6 hours before the start of a class will not receive credit or refund. Must cancel via email to info@vetward.com to receive credit for the amount paid.
Refund policy
Cancelations at least 6 hours prior to the start of a class will get a credit for a future class. No monetary refunds will be issued. Must cancel via email to info@vetward.com to receive credit for the amount paid.
Registered Participation Only
Only the registered participants will be allowed in the instruction room. No spectators will be allowed.
Start with Fundamentals
All students must take the Beginning Fundamentals class prior to any other class.
Repeating classes
Classes can and should be retaken. Learning new skills takes practice.
Exceptions for age limits
Exceptions to the age limits (12-18 years old) may be given based on individual maturity level and ability to follow instruction. Reach out to info@vetward.com to request exception.
Food, drinks, gum
No food or gum will be allowed in the instruction room. A water bottle with only water is allowed.
Potential Risks
Any time you are working with live animals and medical equipment there are risks of injury. These risks will be limited as much as possible by teaching safe methods and utilizing sufficient tools and help for each situation.
Cell Phones
Cell phones are an unnecessary distraction and must be kept in a pocket or in a bag and not be used in class unless given specific permission by the instructor.
Behavior
It is critical that students follow all verbal and written instruction to keep everyone (students, animals, staff) safe; and limit damage to any equipment. If a student is not able to follow safety rules, they will not be permitted to continue with that activity and no refund or credit will be given.
Hair, nails, jewelry
Loose, long hair, jewelry and long nails can cause difficulties and/or risks and should be avoided if possible.
Techniques should only be done with trained supervision
The techniques learned in class should not be practiced without trained supervision after leaving the class.
